Storm Front Over Shiprock

Kyle and I battled snow and slush in Utah on our way to Arches National Park yesterday. A heavy storm front was on the move all day. We have shot a little over 6,000 photos since we hit the ground in Las Vegas. Last night we were still fighting rain and snow driving through Colorado to Gallup, NM. Complete overcast here today. We will be slowing down the pace in an effort not to miss anything but it looks like the Painted Desert, Petrified Forest and Old Route 66 Memorial will be under heavy clouds in the photos. So much for using a polarizer to enhance the colors.
During our rain delay, I just wanted to write a quick note thanking all of you who are sending kind words and comments. We are having a blast and it has been very cool to share a bit of what we are seeing with you. Your comments are the words behind most of this blog. I just try to capture a bit of God's creation for you all to see. Enjoy!
Have a great day!
